Coffee & Brownies for Jenn: We will be serving coffee and brownies in the library this Friday, March 26, from 1-4 p.m. to bid farewell to Jennifer Courtright (HNU ’06) who has done a marvelous job as the Acting Head of Access Services and is now moving on.
Brownies and Starbucks coffee are two of Jennifer’s very favorite things, so that’s what we’re serving!

The Art and Poetry event has a NEW TIME: Wednesday, April 7, 5-7 p.m.

The focus of this event is an exhibit of the capstone art project of Katie Coykendall (HNU 2010), but we encourage faculty, students, staff, and alumnae who would like to exhibit art or read poetry to contact the library ( to sign up.

You can read your own poetry, or the poetry of others. It is rumored Phillis Wheatley will be making an appearance.

Wine and nibblies will be served!

Chips and Dips Celebration: Dip Contest, Library Open House, and now: a barbecue!

On Tuesday, April 20, from 12:30-2 p.m., the Library is holding a celebration for its recent spiffing-up and other improvements.

The festivities feature a dip contest with 25-cent tastings (proceeds to Reach Academy),  demonstrations of our cutting-edge RFID technology, and now, a barbecue to which all are invited!

Nicole unveils the secrets of that tiny apple in the upper left-hand corner of your Mac screen. Do not be afraid–the apple menu is your friend!
