The students in Cole Krawitz’s poetry class will perform their final class readings in the Library. A wonderful welcome to autumn and to the resumption of our Cushing Salon series!

RefWorks Workshop, Tuesday, October 5, 12:30 p.m. (Brennan, Technology Support Center)

A last-minute opportunity from a training specialist allows us to offer faculty and staff a special workshop on RefWorks, the online citation management software that can make your writing and research so much easier. (Also see this handy RefWorks guide by adjunct librarian Eugenia Chan.)

Stay for a few minutes or a full hour of RefWorks “basics”; those who are truly gung-ho can stay on for a second hour of power-user training. We’ll offer light refreshments. RSVP to Daniel Ransom,

Thursday, November 4, 6-8 p.m. Art talk by Professor Robert Simons: “Simultaneous Contrast: An informal and very illustrated conversation about making art.” Location: Library. This is a 45-minute talk with socializing before and after.
