Applause for Marguerite's Talk

Applause for Marguerite's Talk

What a fantastic turnout we had for last night’s scintillating lecture by Dr. Marguerite Rigoglioso! Click on the picture for the full set from last night’s talk–you might see yourself.

Our next event:

“Transformational Art: The Beauty of Mathematical Mapping,” a talk by Professor Ian Sammis.

Thursday, April 14, 6-7 p.m. in the Glass Lounge.

Expect a lively and learned talk from Ian Sammis, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, whose fascinating artwork was featured in a recent faculty colloquium.

Professor Sammis’ eye-popping work will be on exhibit all spring in the library’s Lower Level, brightening the spaces between the study desks facing the perimeter road. Most of the art is now up for viewing (thanks to Campus Services for hanging it)!
