Risky Business: Tips and Tricks Session for ABI/INFORM this Friday

November 2, 2009

If you use business databases, you may want to attend a “tips and tricks” information session for the ProQuest ABI/INFORM business database this Friday, November 6, 9 a.m., in the computer classroom at the Cushing Library.

ABI/Inform is a high-quality business database the Library currently subscribes to that includes everything from annual reports and business cases to newspaper articles and country studies.  Three new additions, to be profiled in this session, include industry reports, commodity reports, and downloadable data sets.

You can get to ABI/Inform at any time by navigating to the collection of E-Sources in the Library Information Portal. (If you’re off-campus, you need to log in first; see these instructions for faculty and for students.)  But Friday’s demo, conducted online by ProQuest staff, could introduce you to some power features that will make ABI/Inform even more useful to you.
